St John has Grow and Share groups that are geared towards High School students. Our goal in mind is to build relationships amongst these youth to help encourage each other to grow and share their relationship with Jesus. We hope to give them many lessons and memories from events such as Youth Gatherings and Hot Hearts concert events that they can take back to their own social groups to share with others.
We share our time and talents in service projects such as Operation Christmas Child and our Worship teams. Weekly there are meet up times for the youth to come together and discuss their current situations.
Being in High School is difficult, especially trying to balance a public identity with a church identity. We want to show these kids that they are supported and loved, not only by their families and church leaders, but also by God. When we come together, we are there to help get through the hard times together with Jesus as our guide through all of the hardships and questions that come with growing up.
